Dad is 92-years-old and has Alzheimer's. He has been at Forest Court since August 2019. Whenever I visit unannounced, I find him smiling, warm and smartly dressed. To simply sit holding his hand while we enjoy a pot of tea and biscuits; is a total joy after the exhaustion and worry of caring for Dad
Since my mother has been at Park View her health has improved. The nurses and care staff are exceptional. She is well cared for and looks a lot cleaner. Her room is very comfortable with her own TV and allowed to have her own pictures on the wall. We couldn't imagine a better place for her to stay.
My husband has been in this care home since October with dementia. His care has been marvellous. Through the illness, he is very aggressive at times they calm him and treat him so well. I don't know where we would be without them. Nothing is too much trouble. They give me support as well.
My mother is kept comfortable, with wonderful attention by all staff, who are attentive and sympathetic to her condition. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursing home.
This was our first choice of care home, and we were so lucky to get Mum in. The staff are very caring, and the treatment was excellent. Mum was always treated with respect and love. The home is friendly and welcoming. The staff always keep you informed and involved in decisions.
Park View is an excellent nursing home where the staff and management really care about their residents. Nothing is too much trouble and time is given to every resident.
The care my mum had from the staff I could not fault it in my eyes they were all angels. On visiting her we were always made very welcomed and offered refreshments and whoever let us in always knew where mum was. It broke my heart to see how quickly she deteriorated but the staff always found the time to talk to me and reassure me.
Since my uncle was moved from his previous care home. The specialist care he has received has been exemplary. This is by far the best home we have seen and had dealings with. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and are excellent at managing difficult behaviour.
Our mother stayed here for the last two weeks before her passing. The care she received was excellent and we could not have been more content with all of the staff. They treated all of our family with great respect and they became part of our family. If anyone is looking for a place for their loved ones, this is the home to choose. You are able to visit day or night, which we found to suit us all.
